If I could start my life anew,
I would choose to be with you!
You brighten all my gloomy days,
and chase the sadness all away!
You’re the only one that understands,
how to treat me like a man!
You stand by me wrong or right,
by my side you’re there to fight!
When cold in bed on winter nights,
you warm my body until morning’s light!
You comfort me in times of need,
and heal my heart when it bleeds!
You give me sight where I am blind,
and guide my way for me to find!
You give me hope where there is none,
and show me the good in everyone!
You give me meaning to what is life,
I thank God that you’re my wife!
