My Life Is In Despair

 

~My God in Heaven hear my prayer

my life has fallen to despair~

~My day’s leave me but in distress

help me to end this loneliness~

~Give me someone to have and hold

to be together and grow old~

~No longer can I be alone

my heart’s not made of what is stone~

~Forsaken so long by love I’ve been

and longed for the touch of a woman again~

~Emptiness has devoured my soul

no longer I feel as I am whole~

~My nights are long I cannot sleep

sometimes I find myself in weep~

~I fear my God my life will end

if soon a love you do not send~

~My God my God I ask of thee

my God please end this agony~

A Bedside Prayer

 

~As yet another day comes to end

to God a prayer I do send~

~I pray another day will come

and bring Goodwill to everyone~

~My children will grow up to be strong

practice the knowledge of right from wrong~

~My life will be long enough to see

my youngest daughter earn a degree~

~That those of the hungry will be fed

and no longer their pains to be dread~

~For peace on earth to come to be

so all mankind kind can be free~

~I give thanks for my children born

for my life in them has been adorn~

~For giving me those special gifts

for they have been my total bliss~

~In ending I ask my soul to take

if I should die before I wake~

              ~Amen~

My Darling;

A Grave Site Talk

My Darling;

It’s been a great many days,

since that Cancer took you away!

But my memories of our being together,

will last forever!

A friend asked about you today,

and I really didn’t know what to say!

Tears filled her eyes as I gave her the news,

she’d been planning to visit you!

I miss you my Darling with all my heart,

being without you has torn me apart!

You were my life and everything to me,

without you there’s no longer a future for me!

We spent almost twenty years together,

and there could’ve been no life better!

Now I visit and talk to you at your grave,

and afterwards to God I’ll pray:

“Lord she was everything to me,

and when I die: With her-please let me be?

But while still on this earth I’ll not love again,

and love her until my life ends”

Amen!

So when the time comes my love,

I”ll see you again in God’s Kingdom above!

That My Mind Stays

Free of Evil Thoughts

Of the Enemy We Once Fought

They were Only Men

Their Leaders did Send

To Fight

Wrong or Right

They were Evil

So Very Evil

But God says On to He

Kindness Ye Shall Show from Thee

Feel Sorry for Him

For His Life is Dim

Can you See

Our Country is Free

To Heaven Our Soldiers will Go

Theirs I do not Know

Our Soldiers Died for Truth

And The Red, White and Blue

One Nation

With Salvation

With The Good Lord on Our Side

We Will Always Turn the Tide

God Watches Over Us

A Prayer

Dear God in Heaven,

Hallowed-

be thy Name!,

I was Beleven’d!

Now I’m Tamed,

No longer-I throw Blame,

For my Hard Times, 

and My Many Crimes!

Forgive me My Past,

I’ll no longer Act,

as Satin’s Evil Twin,

That Life’s come to an End!

I’ve Accepted Our Lord,

His word I’ve Absorbed!

My Soul-I wish you to Take,

if I don’t Awake!

Thy Kindom Come,

Thy Will be Done,

And Everything I Do,

Will be for You!

I Pray to Thee,

For All to See,

Your Word’s for Me!
