A soldier died today,
when his buddy lost his way!
He stepped on a mine,
one they didn’t find!
He met his end,
saving his friend!
He was a good man,
many battles he did stand!
He is dead, his friend’s alive,
because of him, many survived!
His hero’s story,
all full of glory,
will be told
until all are old!
